Artemis Labs is a research laboratory with one purpose: to build autonomous intelligence and place it in the service of humanity.
We operate as a parent organization. The laboratory does the research. The companies it creates carry that research into the world, as products, as workforces, as infrastructure. Together they form a single engine designed to compound: every discovery becomes a company, and every company funds the next discovery.
The laboratory was founded by Thomas Guthrie on a single conviction: that autonomous intelligence is the most important technology humanity will ever create, and that building it deserves an institution designed for nothing else.
We are small by intention. The most consequential organizations in history were not the largest; they were the most concentrated. A few dozen minds, unreasonable ambition, and decades of focus have always been how the future actually gets built. That is what we are.
